about Audrey's Story

May I introduce Audrey Mbuyazi, a singer-songwriter, author and play-write. Audrey has been writing and performing for many years and released her debut album in 2008 titled “One Simple Prayer”, followed quickly by a worship album in 2009 titled, “Only You”.

Her latest release is a rendition of her all-time favourite Hymns, titled Take My Life, which boasts a few classical deliveries of Be Thou My Vision, Great is Thy Faithfulness, Amazing Grace and the most famous and loved David Foster’s The Prayer which she has replaced the Italian with Zulu Lyrics making it Proudly South Africa.

Audrey’s music is centred on a Christian theme. Musically it offers something for everyone, with a pleasing blend of African ballad, soul, jazz, classical & even disco. Audrey’s albums feature songs of love, praise & worship, as well as friendship, encouragement & even the issues of life’s hard choices. Audrey’s performance is for an audience that appreciates great lyrical music.
